There are pumpkins in the parks this Halloween

Halloween might be a bit different this year, but there’s still plenty of frights and fun to be had whilst keeping everyone safe!
Free pumpkin trails
Get your little monsters dressed up (and wrapped up) and go exploring in one or more of our main parks and follow our free pumpkin trails.
See how many pumpkin posters you can spot. To make it more traditional you might want to give your explorers a treat each time they find one.
Win a prize!
We’d love to see your bubble’s creepy costumes, whether that’s kids, parents, or even pets. Snap a picture with one of our pumpkins and tag us in your post on Facebook for a chance to enter our prize draw, where one lucky creature will win a voucher to buy a few more treats.
When will the trail be running?
This COVID-19 friendly Halloween trail will be running on Sat 31 October 2020.
Where will the trails be?
You’ll be able to find the trails in the following Kirklees parks: Beaumont Park – Huddersfield, Crow Nest Park – Dewsbury, Greenhead Park – Huddersfield, Oakwell Country Park, Birstall and Wilton Park – Batley.
For opening times visit our website.
Brilliant work indeed and thank you very much for these wonderful things to help
It would have been good to be informed about the pumpkin trail in Greenhead Park in advance so that we could have publicised it to our contacts and via our social media.

Hi Liz, we’re really sorry to hear that your children were disappointed. However, the COVID-19 friendly Halloween trail will be running on Sat 31 October 2020 which is mentioned in the article. Thank you ^EMT
This is not accurate. This year there is no pumpkin trail at Oakwell hall. It seems counter intuitive to have a where’s Wally indoor event in the year of Covid & not out any outdoor event on. My children were disappointed as I had promised them we would see pumpkins.
