Get involved in the Big Rainbow Knit
Woven is a celebration of innovation in textiles across Kirklees and in June 2021 they are planning the big rainbow knit.
Woven are planning something exciting and need you! At Huddersfield train station they are planning on yarn bombing the six grand pillars at the front of the station building. Then heading out to other train stations in Kirklees to yarn bomb them too to create a trail of spectacular woollen rainbow coloured installations.
Here is where you come in… Woven need as much help as possible to get the public knitting and create a crocheting army! Whether you are experience or just a complete beginner or even somewhere in the middle you can get involved to make individual rainbow pieces for the big rainbow project, so that they can be combined all together.
