Award winning authors celebrate Cosmia Festival with Kirklees Libraries

Cosmia Festival is a multi-arts event based in Huddersfield which features storytelling by award winning authors and fun activities for everyone to take part in.

What is the theme?

The theme is “The End of the World as we know it” and will be exploring climate change and apocalyptic fiction. This year’s mini festival will take place online and features a spooky twist for Halloween.

What can you expect?

The festival will have award winning authors, prize-winning books, interviews and readings and plenty of fun (and spooky!) activities for everyone to take part in. There will also be advice on creative writing, tips on getting published, cleaning the environment, surviving an apocalypse and enduring trials of extinction.

All sessions will be streamed live on Kirklees Libraries YouTube and Facebook page.
