The Great Get Together is upon us and there are lots of fun activities taking place this weekend. Get the family involved, tell your friends and have a sunny weekend with the great get together.

This year the theme is ‘welcome.’ We’ve partnered with Refugee Week for a second year on the Great Walk Together, and are also working with Muslim Council of Britain to support mosques in Batley and Dewsbury to get involved.

Family friendly fun day for everyone. Plus, be part of creating a project to be exhibited in Batley. Organised by participants of the Jo Cox Foundation’s Belonging in Batley and Spen project.
Run for Jo family fun day
Oakwell Hall, Batley

As part of the Great Get Together Weekend #runforjo is back celebrating Jo’s belief that ‘we have far more in common than that which divides us’. The run starts at 9.30am followed by the family 2.5km fun run. Please note the entries for the run have closed however you can still join in the fun with the food stalls, a bar, a Mascots’ Race and entertainment this really is a day out for the whole family.
