WYFRS Training at Buxton House
As part of our partnership with West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Homes & Neighbourhoods supported their most recent fire safety training.
The training took place at one of our high-rise blocks, Buxton House
The fire service spent 4 days carrying out exercises to improve their response to incidents in tall buildings.
They used a staircase at Buxton House to practise getting in and out of the building and improving their response times.
Fire safety is a top priority for us, the fire services took their time to familiarise themselves with Buxton House for the unlikely event of a fire breaking out.
To continue supporting the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, they will be using the two high-rise blocks at Berry Brow, Bishop’s Court, and Holme Park Court in the future to undergo more training.
