During this transition period, there will be a temporary pause to some services, but the team will continue to take calls and fulfil existing appointments.

Here are some important dates:

During this period, the team will not be taking orders for priority certificates. They will continue to take orders for standard certificates with the maximum publish time of 15 days.

Monday 24 July

Continue to deliver services from Huddersfield Town Hall until 12pm. This will be limited to death appointments and weddings taking place on the day. The team will continue to take calls.

Tuesday 25 July

From 10.30am, all appointments (not ceremonies) including births, deaths and notice of marriages will take place at Civic Centre 1, Albion Street, Huddersfield, HD1 2NG.

Ceremonies including weddings, civil partnerships, citizenships, renewal of vows and baby naming, will still take place at Huddersfield Town Hall.
