Local Offer Live

Would you like to know more about the support available for Kirklees children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?

We’re hosting a FREE event where you can discover lots of information about activities, support and other services.

Local Offer Live is on Wednesday November 29, from noon to 7pm, at Dewsbury Town Hall, Wakefield Old Road, WF12 8DG.

You can chat face to face with a range of people who support children and young aged 0-25 with SEND. The event is open to everyone and there will also be workshops about: approaches to parenting; how mainstream schools support pupils with additional needs; and making successful transitions, whether that’s between different stages of education or when leaving education altogether.

Local Offer Live covers services and support from education, health, social care and communities. You can drop in at any time, with places for the workshops bookable on the Local Offer website.
