The Class of 2024 have excelled with their A Level and Vocational results.

Over 3,000 young people sat A-Levels and Level 3 qualifications in Kirklees schools and colleges, with early figures showing a pass rate of 97.9% A*- E at A Level, and 97.6% Distinction*- Pass in vocational qualifications.

Cllr Amanda Pinnock, Cabinet member for Education and Communities, said:

“It’s fantastic to see so many great achievements by young people in Kirklees.

“We are proud of their efforts and also proud of the excellent work that takes place in local schools and colleges.

“Together, we are ambitious for all our young people. We want them to fulfil their potential and add to the economic wellbeing of the district.

“Their hard work will be rewarded by a range of opportunities, and we wish them the very best in the next stage of their lives.”

As students move forward with various pathways, UCAS and C+K Careers are available to discuss and advise on next steps.
