Young people celebrate their GCSE results
Congratulations to over 5,200 Kirklees students who are collecting their GCSE results today.
Cllr Amanda Pinnock, Cabinet Member for Education and Communities, said:
“We’re all very proud of the successes of our students.
“The hard work and commitment they have shown is reflected in results across Kirklees and they can now look forward to many new and exciting post-16 opportunities.
“I would like to recognise the input of schools, staff and families in supporting our young people.
“They all have vital roles to play in nurturing students’ talents and guiding them through their educational journey.”
