Huddersfield to once again host International Market
The popular International Market returns to Huddersfield this October thanks to our partnership with Market Place (Europe).
The event will feature over 25 traders with food and products from around the world setting up market stalls along a walkway through the town centre, running the length of New Street. Over the four days visitors to the International Market can expect to find a variety of mouthwatering street foods, sweet treats, and interesting crafts and gifts from different countries.
From burritos to bracelets, and macaroons to moonshine – there will be something for everyone.
Carole Pattison, Leader of Kirklees Council and Cabinet Member for Culture, said:
“The International Market is always a popular event, and we’re excited to welcome it back to Kirklees for the second time this year.
“The Market, with its unique range of goods from different countries, will complement the shopping offer in Huddersfield and give people even more of a reason to visit the town centre.”
When will it happen?
The International Market will be held on New Street, Huddersfield from Thursday 3 October to Sunday 6 October. Opening hours will be from 10am to 5pm on Thursday to Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm Sunday.
