Unlocking your potential with apprenticeships

National Apprenticeship Week. A collage of images of apprentices in various roles.

This week we are joining the rest of the country to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, placing focus on the many benefits apprenticeships bring to individuals and businesses.

We understand the benefits that apprenticeships can bring to those starting their career, or to those looking to progress in their current role or considering a new career, so if that’s you, we can help support you in your journey.

Councillor Amanda Pinnock, Cabinet member for Education and Communities said:

“Apprenticeships give us the opportunity to welcome a wide variety of skills and talents into the council, and the district.  We want to bring the potential of individuals to many vital roles here in Kirklees, whilst helping the borough’s businesses find future employees to help them thrive. We offer support with people’s apprenticeship ambitions all year round, but National Apprenticeship Week is a great opportunity to join forces and place a national spotlight on this subject matter. With our own council apprenticeship vacancies going live imminently, there is no better time to consider your future career path, explore opportunities to progress and learn invaluable skills to help you on your journey.”
