Huddersfield Town centre to host International Market

International Market

We have partnered with Market Place (Europe) to bring a continental flavour to Huddersfield Town Centre.

The popular International Market will return to New Street on Thursday 3 April at 10 am and stay until 4 pm on Sunday 6 April, with traders from around the world setting up market stalls for shoppers to browse as they walk through the town.

Visitors can expect to find a variety of interesting street foods and sweet treats, and artisan crafts and gifts from Europe and beyond. From Coconut Macaroons and Mediterranean street food to Jerk Chicken and Turkish Delight – shoppers will be spoilt for choice with a range of world cuisines.

Councillor Carole Pattison, Leader of Kirklees Council and Cabinet Member for Culture said:

“The international market brings real vibrancy and colour to the heart of Huddersfield. I encourage shoppers to explore not only the market, but also everything else the town centre offers. Our wonderful Victorian Byram and Imperial arcades with their unique mix of independent retailers, the busy Saturday second-hand market, the choice of independent coffee shops and cafes and the range of shops across the town – there’s something for everyone.”

The International Market will be held on New Street, Huddersfield from Thursday 3 April to Sunday 6 April 2025. Opening hours will be from 10 am to 5 pm on Thursday to Saturday, and from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday.
