Kirklees students celebrate 2025 academic successes
Students across Kirklees are celebrating strong academic results in 2025, with a significant number of young people successfully completing A-Levels and vocational qualifications.
The Class of 2025 have again excelled with their A Level and Vocational results. Approximately 3500 young people sat A-Levels and Level 3 qualifications in Kirklees schools and colleges, with an A Level pass rate of 97.9% A*- E and 91.8% Distinction*- Pass in vocational qualifications.
Councillor Jane Rylah, Cabinet member for Education, said:
“I am immensely proud of the accomplishments of our students. The dedication and resilience they have shown is truly inspiring and will open up exciting new opportunities for their futures.
“I would also like to recognise the vital support from schools, colleges, teachers, and families in helping students achieve these successes.”
As students take their next steps, whether into higher education, apprenticeships, employment, or gap years support is available from UCAS and C+K Careers to help guide their choices and plans.
