Have your say on local representation – Community Governance Review 2025
We are inviting residents, businesses and community organisations to take part in the Community Governance Review (CGR), which officially launched on 1 October 2025.
This important review looks at how local communities are represented by parish and town council boundaries and related governance arrangements. We want to make sure these arrangements reflect community identity and support effective local democracy.
How to get involved
The first stage of engagement runs from 1 October to 12 December 2025, and we’re inviting initial submissions from anyone with an interest in the area.
You can share your views on:
- Whether current parish boundaries reflect your local community
- Suggestions for creating, merging or changing parishes
- Ideas for improving local governance arrangements
