Connecting Kirklees: Roadworks update for November 2025

Image of a road being resurfaced

Here are some of the planned roadworks due to start in November. For details of all roadworks, head to our roadworks webpage and view the live maps.

There can be lots of reasons for road works including resurfacing, making repairs, improving layouts, and replacing traffic signage and markings.

Remembrance Day Parades and Christmas Events

Sometimes an event may require traffic management. This month, there are some Remembrance service parades, and many towns and villages across Kirklees are kicking off their Christmas celebrations. The national roadworks map displays these as public events, represented by a poppy or a Santa hat.
