Connecting Kirklees: Roadworks update for April 2026

Roadworks

Here are some  of the planned roadworks due to start  in AprilFor details of all  roadworks, head to our roadworks webpage and view the live maps.

There can be lots of reasons for road works including resurfacing, making repairs, improving layouts, and replacing traffic signage and markings.

We also support other organisations to carry out essential works, for example utilities companies whose pipes and wires run under the roads, and developers who need to change road access to complete works.

Whatever the reason we aim to minimise disruption and complete work as efficiently as possible.
