Free parenting app available for families across Kirklees
Families across Kirklees can now access a free parenting app focused on supporting babies and pre-school children during their crucial early years of development.
We have commissioned the EasyPeasy app. Giving parents, carers, and early years practitioners free premium access to a wide range of fun, educational, and easy-to-follow activities for children aged zero to five.
Through the app parents and carers can access thousands of age-appropriate tips and activities tailored to their child’s stage of development, covering topics including:
- Wellbeing
- Bedtime routines
- Nutrition
- Speech and language
- Mindfulness
- Play and communication
Users are encouraged to connect with others in their community by sharing parenting tips, ideas, and experiences with fellow users.
Tom Brailsford, Executive Director for Children and Families, said:
“We know the early years are vital to a child’s development, and parents and carers play the most important role in helping children learn, grow, and thrive. The EasyPeasy app supports this fragile period by offering simple, practical ideas that can fit into everyday family life.
We are delighted to be able to offer free access to families across Kirklees and support parents with accessible tools and advice whenever they need it.”
The EasyPeasy app helps transform everyday parenting moments into playful learning opportunities, using simple activities designed around everyday household items and routines. The app has been developed by a diverse community of parents and child development experts to support children’s learning and wellbeing at home.
The app is available to download now from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and enjoy free premium access as part of our partnership with EasyPeasy.
