Share your views on your tenant experience
We want your feedback on your tenant experience to help inform an upcoming Competence and Conduct Policy, which is being developed as part of our response to the Government’s new Competence and Conduct Standard for social housing.
What is the Competence and Conduct Standard?
The Government’s new Competence and Conduct Standard for social housing will be introduced in phases from October this year. It will ensure that our teams have the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience needed to provide high-quality, respectful services to all tenants.
How does this affect me?
At Kirklees Council, our vision is to provide high-quality homes and create inclusive neighbourhoods where people can thrive. We want our teams to demonstrate our council values of kindness, inclusion and pride, and we want everyone to feel respected, listened to and supported.
A new Competence and Conduct Policy, which is currently in development, will support these aims and help shape the services we provide to residents.
How can I have my say?
Your feedback is important and will help us shape the new policy. It will also help us improve services, inform staff training, and enhance the customer experience for all tenants.
