Suicide Prevention – Money matters and mental health support
On World Suicide Prevention Day, we will be joining organisations across the world, to help raise awareness and continue the conversation about suicide prevention. Additionally, there are things you can get involved with locally and support groups offering different types of support that can suit you.
On Your Doorstep, community event, New Mill Recreation Ground
On Saturday 10 September, there is a family fun day with face painting, a bouncy castle and smoothies! There will be information and advice on debt management, employment, support services, walking groups, community groups and much more.
You can also visit our Mental Health Social Prescribing Link Workers who will be handing out information packs, along with West Yorkshire Police and West Yorkshire Fire Service. Entry is free.
Huddersfield Town Centre Unit 32, Piazza
If you’re heading to Huddersfield Town Centre, pop by our unit in the Piazza where you can speak to staff about local mental health support services. It will be open from 10:30am – 2:30pm and they will be giving out information packs.
