Kirklees Heritage Open Days 2024 Guide

Heritage Open Days

Welcome to our guide to Kirklees Heritage Open Days 2024.

Heritage Open Days takes place from Friday 6 – Sunday 15 September and is coordinated nationally by the National Trust and funded by the People’s Postcode Lottery. Events are organised by individual venues, supported by the Kirklees HOD Committee.

Kirklees contributes almost 100 events to this year’s Heritage Open Days festival, over 30 of them new this year, and all of them are free although booking may be required. Many of these contribute to the 2024 national theme, Routes, Networks and Connections, and dozens of churches are also taking part in Yorkshire Churches Day on Saturday 14 September.
